Vyond
Vyond is a brilliant web-based tool to create animated videos. Easy to use with useful open features on trial plan for beginners and new learners to the video tools. Interesting variety of characters, motions and scenes that serve all the basic needs and more. You can choose out of several characters in different modes with different emotions. Scenes of many settings are available and have multi-usage options. Motion options for characters and text is not numerous but enough and excellent for professional use. I chose it because it is quite popular and easy to use and offers good features to start by a beginner. You can add sounds or record voice and adjust animation and sound according to your needs, all simple and quick. I was able to learn it very quickly and finished the video in no-time and still want to dig in more.

Reflection
At the beginning, when I started with making the video, I thought it would be fun because it is animated and who doesn't like animation and when it is in a microlearning context, it adds to learning and amusement at the same time. Since, it was a tool I started working on without previous knowledge, I certainly experienced principles of learning theories which I believe a people experience even with topics they are familiar with. There is always something new to know!
First of all, when I started working on the tool, I started to try things which maybe resemble ways from previous tools I am familiar with or even know about by watching tutorials and to my surprise, many things in common were found which helped me start and dig more into the rest. By time I was able to get good results until I reached my goal and produced the video. In this experience I used trial and error first which is the immediate proper or improper feedback I received from the tool (Behaviourism). Then, I started to retrieve from my previous knowledge and organize my information and get more motivated to create a good slide (Cognitivism). I built and constructed on this previous knowledge the new skills I had just learnt (Constructivism). With the help of videos and tutorial from the web, I was able to find how and where to get the information (Connectivism). Finally, I was able to create a video and moved to a new level with new skills (ZPD, Constructivism). I chose the tool by myself, had the motivation to prepare a product that already pleases me as a receiver so now I am the creator and I needed to learn it for my instructional design projects to be better (Andragogy).
I strongly believe that every learning experience as an adult learner is a mixture of all the theories and researches done. In the end, the joy of learning process, goal achievement and satisfaction with results is what matters and makes those theories applicable for both learners and educators.
