Since a visual design should grant that a product becomes meaningful, appealing and easily used, there had to be principles to qualify this product and ensure that it is compelling.
The main four principles of visual design; contrast, alignment, repetition, and proximity, also shortened to CARP, help designers understand how to put the elements together in order to create a relevant attractive attractive design.
This infographic is a guide to help beginner learners of digital content and UX design identify the four main principles of visual design with their differences as well as applying them on their designs.
I used Canva as a tool to create this infographic. Considering the white space, I adhered to the blue shades with minimum interference of other hues to clarify the idea and create homogeneous sequence since the topic is technical and requires simplicity. Based on the nature of the topic, I chose the eye as a theme symbol for the document to clarify the ideas through graphical examples with some creative ideas in the heading wording.
