This interactive module is a lesson that teaches learners who study Egyptian Arabic about months and seasons. It also teaches them about the corresponding months to each season. This is not a whole module but a lesson.

By the end of this lesson, learners will be able to:

• recognize the months and seasons of the year

• match each group of months with their corresponding season and vice versa

Authoring Tool: iSpring Suite 11

I chose this tool because it is simple and easy to learn and apply on. The fact that it is added to PowerPoint and shares most of its features makes it a good tool for beginner learners in authoring tools.

In this lesson I added 2 interactive slides:

First, hotspot which helps a learner learn the months of the year by pointing at a calendar while reading and listening to the months in Egyptian Arabic.

Second, tabs which classifies the seasons and mentions the corresponding months with images, reading and listening.

I also added a matching quiz on each objective; a matching quiz and a drag & drop quiz to enhance interactivity and assess learning.
